• Supervise the daily operations and activities of the Housekeeping areas.
• Conduct regular inspection of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and other areas.
• Ensure rooms are cleaned, maintained, and released according to hotel standards.
• Monitor room status and coordinate with Front Office for availability and priority rooms.
• Prepare vacant, occupied, VIP, long-stay, and special-request rooms.
• Monitor room turnaround during high occupancy and peak periods.
• Handle lost and found items per hotel procedures.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Lead, coach, and supervise Housekeeping associates on shifts.
• Prepare and monitor daily work assignments based on occupancy and requirements.
• Ensure attendance, grooming, and discipline of associates.
• Conduct daily briefings and communicate updates and guest requests.
• Monitor productivity and performance of associates.
• Provide coaching and training opportunities.
• Record turnover and endorsements between shifts.
• Conduct room inspections and ensure standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Identify maintenance defects and coordinate with Engineering for action.
• Support internal quality audits and hotel inspections.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, coordinating with other departments.
• Follow up on requests and document results.
