Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search is seeking an experienced Futures Trader to join a high-performing team and own arbitrage trading across iron ore, steel, and coal markets. The role requires a commercially driven trader with strong market insight and a proven P&L track record.

The successful candidate will develop and execute sophisticated trading strategies, manage onshore and offshore arbitrage, and provide timely reports to the trading supervisor.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in futures or securities finance with commodity arbitrage and a solid P&L track record.
• Strong market insight with excellent organisational, analytical and logical reasoning capabilities.
• Confident communicator with coordination, execution and problem‑solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sophisticated trading strategies across iron, steel and coal, focusing on commodity arbitrage.
• Own iron ore, coal and steel futures arbitrage across onshore/offshore markets, including China vs global spreads.
• Analyse holdings, monitor brokerage funds and monthly positions, provide reporting to trading supervisor.
• Conduct in-depth industry research, collect and analyse sector data, prepare market and research reports.
• Identify high-value investment opportunities through continuous market monitoring and analysis.
