The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the shrimp hatchery. The role ensures the safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation of electrical facilities, machinery, generators, and power systems essential to daily hatchery operations while maintaining compliance with electrical and workplace safety standards.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and facilities within the hatchery.
Conduct preventive maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and power-related equipment.
Monitor and maintain generators and other backup power systems.
Diagnose electrical faults and perform necessary repairs to minimize operational downtime.
Ensure electrical installations and work activities comply with safety standards and procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of electrical equipment and identify potential hazards or maintenance requirements.
Respond to electrical emergencies and breakdowns as needed.
Maintain proper records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Vocational graduate, college level, or equivalent technical training in Electrical Technology or a related field.
TESDA NC II in Electrical Installation and Maintenance is preferred.
Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience in a hatchery, agricultural, manufacturing, or industrial environment is an advantage.
Knowledge of electrical systems, generators, and preventive maintenance.
Willing to work on-site and respond to emergency maintenance requirements when needed.
Willing to be assigned in La Union.
