JOB SUMMARY
The Electrician chandles electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works in residential, commercial, and industrial sites, including wiring, panels, solar, CCTV, FDAS, motor controls, and water pump systems, while following safety standards. He must have at least 1 year experience, TESDA NC II or related course, ability to read basic electrical diagrams, and knowledge of electrical tools and safety practices. Must be willing to learn, can work independently, and fit for field work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledgeable in electrical safety practices and preventive maintenance
- Familiar with electrical tools and testing instruments
- Able to read simple electrical diagrams and wiring layouts
- Skilled in electrical installation, repair, and maintenance for residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
- Willing to learn related tasks such as plumbing, welding, fire suppression systems, and construction support
- Able to transfer multiple site projects
- At least minimal experience in electrical maintenance and repair
- Can work independently onsite
- Physically fit for field and manual work
- TESDA NCII Certification related in Electrical is not required but a plus
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Electrical Installation & Wiring
- Installs and bends conduits (PVC, EMT, IMC, flexible)
- Pulls and terminates wiring per color coding and load requirements
- Mounts switches, outlets, breakers, and panels
- Installs and maintains solar/PV systems, street lights, CCTV, FDAS, and pump controllers
2. Troubleshooting & Repair
- Diagnoses short circuits, loose connections, overloads, and voltage drop issues
- Replaces faulty wiring, breakers, or fixtures using proper isolation procedures
- Resolves panel and grounding faults to prevent project delays
3. Site Operations Support
- Follows daily work orders from the Site Supervisor/PM
- Sets up ladders, tools, and materials for daily tasks
- Assists in hauling and positioning heavy equipment (generators, cable drums, panels)
- Works safely at heights using scaffolding or fall protection
4. Tools & Equipment Care
- Operates multimeters, clamp meters, drills, and crimping tools
- Performs daily tool inspection and cleaning
- Minimizes material waste through accurate measuring and cutting
- Reports lost or damaged tools promptly
5. Safety & Compliance
- Follows lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures and site-specific safety protocols
- Attends toolbox meetings
- Wears required PPE (helmet, gloves, safety shoes, harness)
- Immediately reports unsafe acts, conditions, or near misses
6. Quality Assurance
- Ensures work meets DreinTech's technical standards and drawings
- Performs self-checks before requesting inspection
- Keeps terminations, labeling, and cable management neat and organized
