PM Consulting is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Makati City to provide expert technical assistance for solar PV systems, EV charging equipment, and related electrical components. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnostics, and collaboration with field engineers and service partners to ensure timely issue resolution.

The ideal candidate has an electrical engineering background, strong communication skills, and willingness to conduct occasional onsite visits.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in electrical technical support, troubleshooting, commissioning, aftersales service, or equipment maintenance is preferred.
• Experience with solar PV systems, inverters, EV charging equipment, or related electrical products is an advantage.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and customer communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willing to conduct occasional onsite visits when required.

• Support the preparation of technical guides, service documentation, and customer or installer training when required.
• Perform other related engineering duties as assigned.

Role Overview

The Technical Support Engineer will provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and aftersales support for solar PV systems, EV charging solutions, and related electrical equipment. This role requires strong electrical fundamentals, practical problem-solving ability, and effective communication with customers and internal teams to resolve technical concerns efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for solar PV systems, inverters, EV charging equipment, and related electrical components.
• Assess and investigate technical concerns raised by customers, installers, and internal teams.
• Guide customers and field personnel through troubleshooting procedures, system checks, and corrective actions.

Technical Competencies

• Electrical measurement, testing, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Electrical safety practices.
• Basic solar PV system components, inverter operation, and system monitoring.
• A structured approach to identifying symptoms, testing possible causes, determining root cause, and documenting resolution.
