Job summary

SK AERO BUILDERS CO. LTD. CORP. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and CAD drafting across projects in Metro Manila.

You will independently develop and review plans, perform load calculations, coordinate with architecture and structures teams, and ensure compliance with Philippine electrical standards. This role offers on-site work in Mandaluyong with a collaborative engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Professional licensure as Electrical Engineer (REE/PEE) preferred for senior level.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, draft, analyze, and review electrical plans using AutoCAD.
• Prepare detailed layouts for lighting, power, equipment, distribution, and grounding.
• Prepare and review single-line diagrams, panel schedules, load schedules, and drawings.
• Perform load calculations, circuit sizing, feeder sizing, and voltage drop analyses.
• Coordinate electrical requirements with architectural, structural, mechanical disciplines.
• Identify design conflicts and propose engineering solutions.
• Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, submittals, and technical documents.
• Conduct site inspections to verify installations align with plans.
• Provide technical guidance to electricians, foremen, and project teams.
• Prepare and update as-built drawings based on site conditions.

About the role

SK AERO BUILDERS CO. LTD. CORP. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer with strong experience in electrical design, CAD drafting, plan analysis, electrical calculations, and construction implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently developing and reviewing electrical engineering plans and ensuring that designs are technically sound, coordinated, constructible, and compliant with applicable Philippine electrical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, draft, analyze, and review electrical engineering plans using AutoCAD/CAD software
• Prepare detailed electrical layouts for lighting, power, equipment, distribution, grounding, and other electrical systems
• Prepare and review single-line diagrams, panel schedules, load schedules, riser diagrams, electrical details, and construction drawings
• Perform electrical load calculations, circuit sizing, feeder sizing, voltage drop calculations, and other necessary engineering calculations
• Analyze architectural and engineering drawings and coordinate electrical requirements with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other disciplines
• Identify design conflicts, technical issues, and constructability concerns and recommend appropriate engineering solutions
• Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents
• Conduct site inspections and verify that electrical installations are consistent with approved plans and specifications
• Provide technical guidance to electricians, installers, foremen, site engineers, contractors, and project teams
• Prepare and update as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and completed works

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE/PEE), preferably PEE for senior-level responsibilities
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, electrical design, construction, or project engineering
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software
• Proven ability to independently create, draft, analyze, interpret, and revise electrical plans
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution, lighting systems, grounding, equipment connections, and building electrical systems
• Strong understanding of electrical load calculations and system sizing
• Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, and other engineering drawings
• Strong knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and applicable electrical standards
• Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, and communication skills
