Job summary

Smarthouse Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team in the Philippines. The role focuses on electrical design, estimation, BOM preparation, and site coordination with project teams to ensure standards compliance.

You will review plans, perform calculations, and prepare cost estimates for electrical works, while supporting proposals and quotations. A 2–3 year track record is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) preferred/required, depending on company requirements.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in electrical design, estimation, or related engineering work.
• Knowledgeable in reading and interpreting electrical and architectural drawings.
• Experience with PlanSwift, SolidWorks, Revit, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical plans, layouts, and design drawings for projects.
• Perform electrical design and calculations based on project requirements and applicable standards.
• Prepare material quantity take-offs and cost estimates for electrical works.
• Review project plans, specifications, and scope of work for accurate estimation.

• Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and technical evaluation when necessary.

• Coordinate with the engineering and construction teams to resolve technical issues.
• Assist in monitoring project requirements, materials, and electrical installation activities.

About the role
