Job summary

China Energy Engineering Group Shanxi Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (Singapore Branch) is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation, budgeting, and quantity take-offs for electrical EPC projects.

You will prepare BOQs, support procurement, and manage contracts, variances, and cost reporting within fast-paced EPC environments. The role involves close collaboration with engineering and project teams on solar, BESS, substations, and building services, with a requirement for 3+

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of QS experience in construction or EPC projects.
• Must have prior working experience in Singapore (construction or EPC projects).
• Experience in electrical works (power plants, substations, or building services) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.
• Ability to work in fast-paced EPC project environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost estimation, budgeting, and detailed quantity take-offs for electrical works.
• Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for EPC power projects.
• Handle tendering, subcontractor evaluation, and procurement support.
• Manage contracts, variation orders, claims, and cost reporting.
• Monitor project budgets and cost performance throughout project lifecycle.
• Work closely with engineering and project teams on electrical scope (solar, BESS, substations, buildings).
