We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and optimising electrical systems across our environmental engineering projects and facilities. This position is critical to ensuring the reliable operation of our equipment and infrastructure, directly supporting our project delivery and environmental objectives. You will work on-site in Metro Manila, providing essential maintenance support that keeps our operations running safely and efficiently.
Conduct routine equipment patrols and inspections of incinerators and related WTE facilities.
Plan, arrange, supervise, and coordinate both scheduled and emergency maintenance activities.
Manage maintenance-related procurement processes, including ordering materials and contracting service providers.
Oversee maintenance shutdowns, power receiving operations, and related electrical activities.
Respond to equipment failures and operational issues through in-house solutions or contractor support.
Manage emergency situations and disasters such as fires, earthquakes, and other incidents.
Ensure environmental compliance by preventing dust and ash dispersion and adhering to drainage and waste regulations.
Perform regular safety inspections and promote workplace safety standards.
Enforce compliance with company policies and regulations, including controls on the removal of waste, incinerated materials, and equipment.
Develop annual electrical maintenance plans and schedules.
Establish, review, and update electrical maintenance standards and procedures.
Monitor and evaluate electrical maintenance performance and effectiveness.
Manage maintenance activities during planned shutdown periods to ensure timely completion.
Coordinate maintenance plans with operations, receiving, and other relevant departments.
Develop and maintain maintenance work procedures, guidelines, and operational manuals.
Manage inventory and availability of electrical spare parts.
Prepare, monitor, and control the annual maintenance budget and costs.
Intermediate-level English communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must have personal transportation (car or motorcycle).
Must be a Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) or Registered Electrical Engineer (REE).
At least 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance operations, including:
Electrical equipment connection and wiring work.
Use of testers and other electrical measuring instruments.
Replacement of relays, fuses, conductors, and circuit breakers.
TESDA certification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
At least 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance management.
At least 2 years of experience in coordinating subcontracted repair works and procuring electrical spare parts and materials.
