The Electrical Engineer is responsible for supporting plant engineering, construction, commissioning, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities at the Plant. The role ensures that all electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems, equipment, and facilities are maintained in a safe, reliable, and serviceable condition. The position works closely with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability, support capital projects, implement preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with company, statutory, and safety requirements.
Support plant engineering, construction, commissioning, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities
Maintain all electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems, equipment, and facilities in a safe, reliable, and serviceable condition
Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability
Support capital projects and equipment upgrades
Implement preventive maintenance programs
Ensure compliance with company, statutory, and safety requirements
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Troubleshoot rotating equipment, motors, drives, power distribution systems, and electrical controls
Prepare technical specifications, scopes of work, and procurement requirements for electrical equipment and spare parts
Conduct root cause failure analysis and equipment reliability improvement initiatives
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Registered Electrical Engineer (REE)
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering within manufacturing, mining, mineral processing, industrial, quarry, or heavy industry environments
Experience in installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment
Experience developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Exposure to troubleshooting rotating equipment, motors, drives, power distribution systems, and electrical controls
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and power distribution
Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
Knowledge of relevant Philippine electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
