Job summary

Fyfe Pty Ltd is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer based in the Philippines to provide remote engineering support to project teams across Australia. You will collaborate with Australian engineers and project managers, delivering electrical and instrumentation designs for oil and gas, mining, and industrial infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
• 3+ years of E&I experience in mining, oil & gas or industrial projects.
• Experience delivering electrical and instrumentation design deliverables.
• Strong communication and ability to work with distributed teams.
• Self-motivated with commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare calculations, specifications, data sheets and design documentation.
• Develop and review deliverables such as single-line diagrams, P&IDs, loop diagrams, cable schedules and hazardous area documentation.
• Work alongside process, mechanical and civil engineers to contribute to integrated design solutions.
• Support projects through various stages of delivery.
• Develop technical expertise and build relationships with Australian colleagues and clients.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Fyfe's engineering processes.

Job description

We're looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join Fyfe's growing Energy & Resources team and provide remote engineering support to project teams across Australia. Based in the Philippines, you'll work closely with Australian engineers and project managers, contributing to the delivery of electrical and instrumentation designs for oil and gas, mining and industrial infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on major Australian projects while being part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

About you
