Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience reading architectural and electrical drawings.
• Experience preparing bids for electrical projects in New York City.
• Proficient in estimating software and MS Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural and electrical drawings to determine project scope.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for electrical installations, devices, and materials.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and bids for electrical projects in NYC.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and electricians to clarify requirements.
• Update estimates based on change orders, RFIs, or revised drawings.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, estimates, and proposals.
• Ensure compliance with NYC electrical codes and industry standards.
