Job Summary:
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in Solar Energy, Research & Development, and government documentation. The role will support solar projects through technical research, project development, preparation of engineering documents, and coordination with government agencies such as the Department of Energy (DOE).
Conduct research and technical studies related to solar energy systems and renewable energy projects.
Assist in the design, evaluation, and development of solar PV systems.
Prepare and organize technical, engineering, and project-related documents.
Process and coordinate permits, applications, and other requirements with government agencies, particularly the DOE.
Monitor government requirements, regulations, policies, and renewable energy guidelines.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants, and government offices regarding project requirements.
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, proposals, and technical documentation.
Support the Research & Development team in identifying new solar technologies, solutions, and project opportunities.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Preferably a Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE).
With experience or background in Solar Energy/ Renewable Energy.
Experience in Research & Development or solar project development is preferred.
Knowledge of government permits, applications, and documentation, particularly with the DOE, is an advantage.
Strong technical documentation and research skills.
Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Willing to conduct fieldwork and coordinate with government agencies when required.
