Job summary

Joyland Industries Corporation in Mandaue City, Cebu is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. This full-time role focuses on the design, development, and implementation of electrical and electronic systems that drive our manufacturing operations.

You will troubleshoot machines, validate designs against safety standards, collaborate across departments, and supervise site installations to ensure seamless commissioning of systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field is required.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in electrical/electronic engineering in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, control systems and circuits.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot machines in manufacturing related to PLC programming, circuit control boards and motors.
• Conduct analyses and simulations to ensure electrical designs meet safety and performance specs.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers and technicians to deliver integrated solutions.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and provide supervision during installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Maintain records of designs, tests, and project modifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through technical innovation and process optimisation.
