Job summary

D & L Industries seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Cost Estimator to manage cost estimation, bidding, and procurement for complex construction projects in the Philippines.

You will review MEPF plans, prepare budgets, and perform value engineering to ensure best cost efficiency from development through construction, coordinating with multiple trades and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cost estimation, bidding, and procurement processes.
• Experience in reviewing construction plans and specs for MEPF trades.
• Strong financial reporting and variance analysis skills.
• Able to prepare investment studies and elemental costing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities.
• Review MEPF plans and prepare quantity needs and costs of materials.
• Estimate costs and forecast materials; support project development from devt to construction.
• Quantify progress and value work on site; monitor final costs and sales.
• Coordinate with all MEPF trades and conduct cost/contract management.

JOB SUMMARY

• Electro Mechanical Works/ Budget, Cost and Contract Management / Commercial and Financial tracking / Bidding and

• Procurement / Cost evaluations / Project Development Investment Studies & Elemental Costing

• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other relevant documents to be presented to the owners

• Review MEPF plans and prepare quantity needs and cost of materials for Project Devt to Construction

• Create price/forecast of the cost of materials needed as well as feasibility studies

• Gather data and quantification to verify progress of accomplishments of the project

• Come up with ways to reduce overall cost of a project ensuring best value for money

• Measure and value work done on site

• Undergo Quantity Take-off and Plan interpretation for MEPF systems

• Materials evaluation, Ordering, and Procurement

• Supplier/Subcontractor Quotation and Evaluation

• Carry out monthly valuation of work in progress including forecasting of final cost and sales

Job Specification

• Graduate of BS Electrical Engineer

• Licensed Electrical Engineer

• With minimun 10 years of experience in Project Development & construction industry, with experience in Cost estimating, bidding, review of construction plans and specification, Investment studies & elemental costing must have experience in coordination with all MEPF trades.
