Business Process Outsourcing International, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, analyze and maintain electrical systems for projects from concept to implementation.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, compliance and efficiency across facilities and equipment. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, knowledge of power systems and experience with AutoCAD/ETAP/EPLAN, PLCs/SCADA and automation.
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. The role involves ensuring that electrical systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable standards and regulations. The Electrical Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to support projects from concept through implementation and maintenance.
Design electrical systems, power distribution networks, and control systems
Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation
Conduct load calculations, system analysis, and equipment selection
Develop engineering solutions to improve performance, reliability, and safety
Participate in planning, budgeting, and execution of electrical projects
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget
Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities
Troubleshoot electrical equipment and system failures
Ensure all electrical systems comply with local and international standards
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Knowledge of electrical power systems and distribution
Familiarity with transformers, switchgear, generators, and motor control centers
Understanding of electrical codes and standards
Experience with AutoCAD, ETAP, EPLAN, or similar engineering software
Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
Professional License/Board Passer (Registered Electrical Engineer - REE) preferred
Registered Electrical Engineer (REE), Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE), or OSHA Safety Certification preferred
