ASEC Development and Construction Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide technical assistance for electrical and engineering concerns before, during, and after construction, monitoring activities, and ensuring compliance with designs.
The role involves coordinating with project stakeholders, supporting pre-commissioning and commissioning, and preparing electrical reports, with a focus on safety and quality on site.
The Electrical Engineer provides technical assistance and solutions for electrical and engineering concerns before, during, and after construction. The role is responsible for monitoring electrical construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved designs and specifications, supporting pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, and coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure timely and quality project completion.
Study and review the scope of work for electrical construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
Prepare and monitor overall and detailed schedules for electrical works.
Determine job specifications and vendor requirements for electrical equipment and systems.
Conduct daily inspections of ongoing electrical works.
Verify that electrical systems and installations comply with approved designs, plans, and specifications.
Check electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are properly installed and ready for commissioning.
Monitor and verify the accomplishment reports of electrical trade contractors.
Coordinate with the Project Manager and Project Superintendent regarding electrical requirements and consumption.
Coordinate with the EHS Manager/Safety Officer to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
Provide technical assistance and recommend solutions to electrical and engineering issues encountered on site.
Prepare and maintain required electrical reports and documentation, including:
Electrical Design and Power Distribution Reports
Electrical Inspection Reports
FDAS/Auxiliary System/CCTV Test Reports
Ensure proper documentation, records management, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE).
At least 6 months or 1 year of technical experience in electrical works, preferably in a construction company.
Strong knowledge of electrical construction scope and processes.
Knowledge of FDAS, Auxiliary Systems, and CCTV.
Proficient in MS Office (Intermediate level).
Proficient in CADD software (Intermediate level).
Ability to operate electrical testing tools and equipment, such as a Megger Tester.
Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and procedures.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System is an advantage.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good problem-solving, planning, organizing, and coordination skills.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Willing to work on a project site and render flexible or extended working hours as required.
Willing to be assigned to other project locations when necessary.
