Job summary

SHING HUNG PLASTICS COMPANY.,INC. seeks a Registered Electrical Engineer to represent the company to PEZA and other government agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• PRC license preferred as a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE).
• Registered Master Electrician (RME) is also an advantage.
• Excellent technical skills, including computer-aided design experience.
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Able to read, interpret, and analyze electrical layouts and symbols.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to run simulations and analyze test data.
• Strong understanding of utility industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Able to handle facility maintenance and electricians on site.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company as the REE to PEZA and other government agencies.
• Design electrical systems by developing and testing components.
• Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by researching.
• Attend testing and commissioning of equipment recently installed.
• Oversee manufacturing, construction, repair, installation, maintenance, and testing activities for compliance.
• Inspect installations and ensure conformance to design and safety standards.
• Review electrical plans to ensure compliance with DOLE, PEZA, BFP and others.
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Lead and manage electrical installation, maintenance and repair for facility systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of electrical systems with corrective actions.

About the role

The role involves representing the company as the Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) as required by PEZA and other government agencies. You will design electrical systems by developing and testing components, evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications, and provide engineering information by answering questions and requests.

Key responsibilities

• Represent as the REE of the company as required by the law, rules and regulation of PEZA and other government agencies
• Design electrical systems by developing and testing components
• Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs
• Attend the testing and commissioning of equipment recently installed by the company
• Oversee and coordinate manufacturing, construction, repair, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
• Review, evaluate, and ensure electrical plans comply with DOLE, PEZA, BFP and other related government agencies
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations
• Lead and manage electrical installation, maintenance and repair activities for facility systems, including power distributions, lighting, backup systems, and critical equipment
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessment of electrical systems, implementing corrective actions as needed

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• PRC license preferred as a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE)
• Registered Master Electrician (RME) is also an advantage
