Job summary

OceanaGold is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced Draftsperson (Electrical) for a 2-year fixed-term contract at the Didipio mine on Luzon Island, Philippines. The role involves producing accurate electrical drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements and OceanaGold standards, under the supervision of the Superintendent – Project Development.

The incumbent will develop 2D and 3D drawings, maintain version control, and contribute to field work through weekly verifications, while

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in engineering drafting or project delivery.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively and think analytically.
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Adherence to confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain field presence and perform CCVs with peers.
• Develop 2D and 3D electrical drawings using CAD.
• Convert conceptual designs into detailed construction drawings.
• Check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Maintain revision log and version control of drawings.
• Develop and maintain procedures for engineering drawings.
