OceanaGold Corporation is seeking an Engineer - Electrical Projects for the Didipio mine in the Philippines. You will lead electrical infrastructure projects from planning and design to construction, commissioning and close-out, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, R.E.E. with PRC licence, and at least 3 years of electrical project delivery experience.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical project delivery.
• Knowledge of HV/MV power systems, electrical standards, and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and working knowledge of MS Project.
• Heavy industry experience and project management qualifications are desirable.

Job Description

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.

As a Engineer - Electrical Projects, you will support the delivery of electrical infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction, commissioning, and close-out. Work with engineering, construction, operations, and project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required standards.
