Job summary

OceanaGold (Philippines) Inc. is hiring a Draftsperson (Electrical) for a 2-year fixed term contract at the Didipio mine on Luzon Island, Philippines.

The role involves preparing accurate electrical drawings, ensuring compliance with OceanaGold standards and codes, and reporting to the Superintendent – Project Development. Key tasks include producing 2D/3D CAD drawings, converting concepts to construction drawings, and maintaining revision logs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in engineering drafting or project delivery.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D drawings for electrical works using CAD software.
• Convert conceptual designs and sketches into detailed construction drawings.
• Check drawings for accuracy, completeness and consistency before submission.
• Maintain a revision log and ensure proper version control of all engineering drawings.
• Develop and maintain procedures to govern the preparation of engineering drawings
• Maintain field presence during on-site work and coordinate with project teams.
