Job summary

OceanaGold Corporation is seeking a qualified Draftsperson (Electrical) for a 2-year fixed-term contract at the Didipio mine on Luzon Island, Philippines. The role focuses on accurate electrical drawings, CAD drafting, and adherence to OceanaGold standards throughout project development.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in engineering drafting, a Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, and strong attention to detail to ensure compliant construction drawings and proper version

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in engineering drafting or project delivery.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence on-site and support Project Execution teams.
• Develop 2D and 3D drawings for electrical works using CAD software.
• Convert conceptual designs into detailed construction drawings.
• Check drawings for accuracy, completeness and consistency before submission.
• Maintain a revision log and version control of engineering drawings.
• Develop and maintain procedures for preparing engineering drawings.
