Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer responsible for maintaining electrical and control equipment and improving system protection and efficiency. You will work with the Maintenance team to deliver reliable operations and contribute to energy transformation.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment, including OT like SCADA and PLC, and entering condition-based monitoring data into CMMS.

Qualifications

• Licensed electrical/electronics/instrumentation engineer.
• 2–3 years experience in power plant or allied industry.
• 2–3 years project experience in power plant.

Responsibilities

• Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment, including OT such as SCADA and PLC, per maintenance program.
• Performs condition-based monitoring and logs results in CMMS (e.g., Maximo).
• Routinely inspects auxiliary and other electrical equipment on a regular interval.

As Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance of electrical and control equipment by conducting preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure continuous operation, and for conducting system improvement for better protection and convenience in operation, and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Maintenance team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance activities on all electrical and instrumentation equipment including Operational Technologies (OT) not limited to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) as directed by the E&I Supervisor in accordance with the Maintenance program.
• Conducts condition-based monitoring programs as specified in Work Instructions and input them in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) which may not be limited to Maximo.
• Conducts routine inspection of auxiliary and other electrical equipment on a regular interval.

• Knowledge of diesel plant operation and maintenance
• Knowledge and experience in electrical power control system
• Experience in fault analysis and resolution
• Ability to read electrical and control diagrams
• Experience in handling low, medium and high voltage equipment
