Job summary

Aboitiz Power Corporation (Power) is seeking an experienced maintenance professional responsible for the upkeep of electrical and control systems to ensure uninterrupted operation across plant assets in Cebu City. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment, including OT like SCADA and PLC, following the Maintenance program and supervision guidance.

It also involves implementing condition-based monitoring, entering results into the CMMS

Responsibilities

• Maintains electrical and instrumentation equipment in accordance with the Maintenance program to ensure continuous operation.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on OT including SCADA and PLC under E&I supervision.
• Inputs condition-based monitoring data into the CMMS (e.g., Maximo) as specified by Work Instructions.
• Ensures calibration of measuring and test instruments.
• Conducts fire-fighting and other emergency responsibilities per the Emergency Response Plan.

Job description

The position is responsible for the maintenance of electrical and control equipment by conducting preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure continuous operation. The position is also responsible for conducting system improvement for better protection and convenience in operation.

• Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance activities on all electrical and instrumentation equipments including Operational Technologies (OT) not limited to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) as directed by the E&I Supervisor in accordance with the Maintenance program.
• Conducts condition-based monitoring programs as specified in Work Instructions and input them in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) which may not be limited to Maximo.
• Ensures all measuring and test instruments are calibrated.
• Performs fire-fighting and other emergency responsibilities as defined in the Emergency Response Plan.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned by superior from time to time.
