Job summary

Johnson Audio and Video Electronics Corporation is seeking a Pollution Control & Safety Officer to ensure occupational safety and environmental compliance within our electronics manufacturing facility. You will implement EHS programs, monitor conditions, manage hazardous materials, and promote a safe workplace.

The role requires a PCO accreditation, DOLE OSH training, and experience in manufacturing. Join our team to drive safety and environmental performance on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, OSH, Engineering or related field.
• Accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO).
• DOLE-accredited Safety Officer with appropriate OSH training.
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably electronics or semiconductor.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Company's occupational safety and environmental programs.
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and wastes.
• Monitor pollution control measures and environmental compliance.
• Prepare and maintain required safety, environmental, and regulatory records and reports.
• Coordinate environmental and safety permits, registrations, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and EHS training.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including drills.
