The Pollution Control and Safety Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and implementing pollution control measures, with a particular focus on air quality, water quality, and waste management within our food manufacturing plant.
Stay abreast of local, state, and federal environmental regulations applicable to the food manufacturing industry.
Ensure the plant's operations comply with all relevant environmental laws and regulations.
Conduct regular environmental audits and assessments to identify potential sources of pollution.
Implement monitoring programs to measure air and water quality, noise levels, and waste management practices.
Oversee the monitoring and testing of wastewater discharges from the plant.
Implement measures to minimize water pollution and ensure compliance with water quality standards.
Collaborate with the wastewater treatment team to optimize treatment processes.
Develop and enforce waste management policies to minimize the generation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
Implement recycling programs and initiatives to reduce overall waste production.
Collaborate with waste disposal vendors and ensure proper documentation and disposal of waste materials.
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, or any related field.
With 3 years of working experience.
Knowledgeable in people management and technical skills on machine maintenance.
Strong ability to direct the work with others and delegate work
