PIVOT-HAWKS MANILA, INC. is seeking an experienced EHS Officer to oversee occupational health and safety compliance across our site.

The role emphasizes risk assessments, permit processing, and fostering a strong safety culture among employees and subcontractors. You will lead safety trainings, conduct inspections and audits, document incidents, and coordinate with regulators to ensure ISO-aligned practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., BOSH, OSHA).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in EHS roles.
• In-depth knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in incident investigation techniques, risk assessments, and safety audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local and national regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments on site to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for employees and subcontractors.
• Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure readiness of emergency equipment.
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, permits, and documentation as required.
• Act as liaison with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders on all EHS matters.
• Promote and enforce a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

About the role
