Job summary

PIVOT-HAWKS MANILA, INC. is seeking an experienced EHS Officer to oversee occupational health and safety compliance across our site.

The role emphasizes risk assessments, permit processing, and fostering a strong safety culture among employees and subcontractors. You will lead safety trainings, conduct inspections and audits, document incidents, and coordinate with regulators to ensure ISO-aligned practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
Professional certification (e.g., BOSH, OSHA).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in EHS roles.
In-depth knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in incident investigation techniques, risk assessments, and safety audits.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local and national regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments on site to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for employees and subcontractors.
Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure readiness of emergency equipment.
Maintain accurate safety records, reports, permits, and documentation as required.
Act as liaison with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders on all EHS matters.
Promote and enforce a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
