Job summary

GrowthAssistant, a fully remote team, is seeking an Ecommerce Graphic Designer to create photorealistic product imagery for Amazon and Shopify, working directly with the founder in a small, fast-moving team.

You will refresh 150 SKUs, build lifestyle scenes, and deliver polished assets for ecommerce listings while applying brand guidelines and collaborating across channels.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional ecommerce graphic design experience.

The Opportunity

We're hiring an Ecommerce Graphic Designer for a direct-to-consumer home products brand — producing photorealistic Amazon and Shopify product imagery, lifestyle composites, and cross-channel creative, and using AI tools to move faster without losing quality. You'll work directly with the founder in a small, fast-moving team.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

• Product Imagery: Design high-converting product detail page images, lifestyle graphics, and Amazon A+ Content / Enhanced Brand Content.
• Lifestyle Scenes: Transform product images on white backgrounds into photorealistic lifestyle scenes with accurate lighting, shadows, scale, and perspective.
• Catalog Refresh: Refresh existing product imagery across approximately 150 remaining SKUs while maintaining brand consistency, and create polished, platform-appropriate assets for Amazon and Shopify product listings.
• Photorealistic Compositing: Use advanced Adobe Photoshop techniques to create realistic product compositions and lifestyle environments, accurately representing products in relation to surrounding objects, surfaces, and backgrounds.
• Retouching: Apply professional retouching, color correction, shadow creation, and image manipulation so finished images look natural and believable.
• Email Creative: Design static creative assets for email marketing campaigns, including Klaviyo emails.
• Paid & Promo Creative: Produce promotional graphics, banners, and static advertising creatives for Meta and other digital channels, adapting imagery and concepts across formats and placements.
• Typography & Layout: Apply supplied marketing copy with thoughtful typography, hierarchy, and layout.
• AI-Assisted Design: Leverage AI image-generation tools where appropriate to accelerate production and iterations, then refine and finalize outputs in Photoshop to professional quality, reproducing creative styles consistently.
• Creative Direction & Collaboration: Work from established brand guidelines and references while executing independently, share work-in-progress previews to confirm direction, and incorporate feedback efficiently over Slack.
• Asset & Workflow Management: Organize creative assets using Canva, Google Drive, and evolving asset management systems, and manage multiple requests while keeping quality, consistency, and turnaround reliable.

What You Bring

• Design Experience: 4+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably supporting ecommerce or consumer product brands.
• Photoshop: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, particularly photo manipulation, compositing, retouching, and realistic product visualization.
• Marketplace Experience: Experience designing Amazon A+ Content, Enhanced Brand Content, and Shopify product imagery.
• Design Fundamentals: A strong understanding of lighting, shadows, scale, perspective, composition, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Production-Ready Output: Ability to create polished, production-ready assets from basic product photography and creative briefs.
• AI Tools: Experience using AI-assisted creative tools while maintaining strong foundational design skills.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify visual inconsistencies independently.
• Communication: Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to sharing progress and aligning on creative direction.
• Volume & Independence: Ability to work efficiently, manage high-volume production, and deliver consistently strong work with minimal supervision.
• Founder Collaboration: Comfortable working directly with a founder in a small, fast-moving team.
• Availability: Significant Pacific Time overlap.

Bonus Points if:

• You have experience designing email marketing assets for Klaviyo.
• You are familiar with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and ecommerce creative requirements.
• You have experience producing static paid social advertising creatives, particularly for Meta.
• You are proficient in Canva and additional Adobe Creative Suite applications.
• You have experience with AI image-generation and enhancement tools.
• You have experience supporting brands with large product catalogs and frequent creative refreshes.
• You are familiar with organizing creative assets and maintaining scalable design workflows.
