Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Cost Controller in the Philippines (Cavite region). You will prepare BOQs, review plans, estimate material costs, and develop cost-saving strategies for residential, infrastructure, and commercial projects.

Responsibilities include on-site measurements, quantity take-offs, supplier bids, and monthly cost forecasting. Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD is required; a Civil/Industrial Engineering degree is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in WBS/BOQ/BOM preparation required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering.
• Experience in residential, infrastructure, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs/BOMs, contracts, budgets for current projects.
• Review architectural plans to estimate material needs and costs.
• Create price forecasts and feasibility studies.
• Gather data to verify project progress and outcomes.
• Develop strategies to reduce costs and enhance value for money.
• Measure and value work completed on site.
• Perform quantity take-off and plan interpretation.
• Handle supplier/subcontractor quotations and evaluations.
• Carry out monthly valuation of work in progress and forecast final cost.
