As a Duty Manager (Clark), you will support the Station and Terminal Managers in ensuring safe, efficient, and seamless day-to-day ground handling operations. You will lead teams, coordinate with key stakeholders, manage operational disruptions, and ensure excellent service delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure that 1Aviation’s Vision, Mission, and Values are achieved.
- Monitor and manage manpower, equipment, facilities, and other resources to support uninterrupted daily operations.
- Promote and ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Security, Customer Service, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
- Investigate operational incidents, irregularities, and discrepancies, and prepare timely reports and recommendations.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address operational issues and minimize delays.
- Conduct daily briefings and debriefings and cascade station notices, memos, and operational updates to frontline teams.
- Coordinate with HCC/NCC-AS and concerned departments regarding planned and unplanned flight delays, disruptions, cancellations, and aircraft changes.
- Monitor station facilities, equipment, and operational systems and ensure that serviceability concerns are properly reported and acted upon.
- Oversee smooth passenger, baggage, cargo, and ramp operations while addressing operational and guest service concerns in real time.
- Ensure timely and accurate encoding and updating of flight movement information.
- Prepare and submit accurate shift and operational reports.
- Participate in station meetings and recommend operational improvements.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and hazard-free working environment within operational areas.
- Coordinate with airport stakeholders, airline partners, and other departments on passenger, baggage, cargo, and operational concerns.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Station Manager or Terminal Manager.
Customer Service Focus
- Address passenger and guest service concerns and provide immediate solutions within established policies and procedures.
- Ensure frontline teams provide timely and accurate information to passengers and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate transit, baggage, special handling, and other passenger-related requirements with concerned teams.
- Promote service excellence and ensure compliance with airline and 1Aviation standards.
Safety Management System
- Perform responsibilities aligned with 1Aviation’s Safety Management System.
- Identify safety hazards, unsafe practices, and operational risks and take appropriate action.
- Promote compliance with applicable safety and security policies, regulations, and procedures.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Holder
- At least 4 years of experience in aviation or ground handling operations
- At least 2 years of supervisory or people management experience
- Experience managing frontline or airport operations teams is an advantage.
