Job summary

Easterseals’s Community Living Floater role offers the chance to work closely with people with disabilities, helping them thrive at home and in the community. The position supports individuals through education, advocacy, and tailored plans, while aligning with funder requirements and accreditation standards.

Full-time schedule with day or night shifts, 12-13 hour shifts, and opportunities for overtime and yearly raises.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least one year experience providing direct supports to individuals with disabilities or group health care experience.
• Must have basic computer skills and be able to work with a variety of computer systems.
• A driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily assistance and supports to individuals with disabilities in their home and community.
• Deliver education and advocacy as outlined in the support plan.
• Ensure supports meet organizational guidelines, funder requirements and accreditation standards.
