Job summary

INITIA GROUP is seeking an entry-level Drink Runner / F&B Service Crew to deliver beverages from the bar to guests, support the front-of-house team, and uphold tea house and dessert shop service standards.

Compensation includes weekday rates of $13/hour to $15/hour, weekend rates of $15/hour to $18/hour, and full-time monthly rate of $2,500 to $2,700. The role requires flexibility to work 6 days per week and 20+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience in F&B, hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
• Positive attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve beverages professionally according to service standards.
• Assist in basic beverage preparation when required.
• Monitor beverage orders and relay issues to team members.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and refer to appropriate staff.
• Assist with clearing glasses and maintaining service areas.
• Support with restocking beverages, cups, ice, and garnishes.
• Follow SOPs, hygiene, cleanliness, and safety procedures.
• Help opening/closing and other operational tasks as needed.
• Support promotions and events when required.

Job Title: Drink Runner / F&B Service Crew

Job Level: Entry-level

Department: F&B Operations

Entry-Level Weekday Rate: $13/hour to $15/hour

Experienced Weekend Rate: $15/hour to $18/hour

Schedule: Minimum 4 days/week, 20 hours/week minimum, up to 35 hours/week

Full-Time Rate: $2,500 to $2,700/month

Schedule: 6 working days per week | 1 day off per week

Overall Job Objectives:

The F&B Drink Runner / Service crew is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of beverages from the bar to guests' tables. The role supports the Front of House team by ensuring drinks are delivered efficiently, tables are properly maintained, and beverage service standards are consistently followed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve beverages professionally and according to tea house and dessert shop service standards.

• Assist in basic beverage preparation tasks according to established procedures, where required.

• Monitor beverage orders and communicate issues to relevant team members.

• Respond to guest requests courteously and refer enquiries or concerns to the appropriate service staff or supervisor.

• Assist in clearing used glasses, cups, and other beverage-related items when required.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of beverage service areas, trays, and equipment.

• Assist with restocking beverages, cups, ice, garnishes, and other service supplies.

• Follow tea house and dessert shop SOPs, food hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.

• Assist with opening, closing, and other operational duties to support business needs.

• Support promotions, events, and other shop activities when required.

• Maintain a professional, respectful, and collaborative working environment.

• Perform other operational duties as required to support the tea house and dessert shop’s business needs.

Job Specifications:

• Previous experience in F&B, hospitality, customer service, or a similar environment is an advantage; training may be provided for suitable candidates.

• Experience in fast-food, restaurants,or hospitality environments is an advantage.

• Positive attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to learn and uphold the tea house and dessert shop’s concepts and service standards.

• Team player with good work ethic and professional grooming and hygiene standards

• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, based on business needs
