Job summary

EDC is seeking a seasoned Well Site Supervisor to lead drilling and workover operations across assigned rigs in the Philippines. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and alignment with the drilling program while coordinating with service providers and engineering teams.

You will develop drilling plans, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement through risk analysis, incident reporting, and cost controls, maintaining strict compliance with HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising rig drilling and workover operations.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple service providers and disciplines.
• Strong safety culture and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct the execution of Rig drilling and workover operations in assigned Well Site - ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with the well drilling program, relevant standards and regulations.
• Arrange drilling rig service providers, and other disciplines to complement the requirements for the drilling operation.
• Prepare the drilling strategies, plans, schedules, and safety protocols to ensure they are executed accordingly for the drilling activity.
• Monitor drilling performance, manage resources, and make operational decisions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with the drilling engineering team and drilling services to develop drilling plans and strategies.
• Feasibility and Risk Analysis: conduct in-depth analysis and identify risks with mitigating measures.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: prepare detailed reports and incident reports; collaborate with Supply Chain.
• Contractor Resource Management: manage drilling consumables and 3rd party services; ensure compliance and cost control.
• Data Management: collect, analyze information and support program changes.
• Drilling Engineering: apply drilling services knowledge and ensure Well Control in planning and operations.
• People Management: mentor rig personnel and promote teamwork to meet objectives.
