Job summary

Hart Australia Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking a full-time contractor to produce accurate, production-ready technical drawings for custom fabrication projects. You’ll work with Australian Engineers, Project Managers and Manufacturing teams using Tekla, SolidWorks and Inventor.

The role requires 3D CAD modelling, detailed fabrication drawings and the ability to manage priorities to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Proven professional drafting experience using SolidWorks and/or Autodesk Inventor.
• Proficient in Tekla software.
• Experience with 3D CAD modelling and production/fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings for custom platforms, landings, ladders and stairs using Tekla, SolidWorks and Inventor.
• Produce detailed Client Approval, Fabrication and Site Assembly drawings.
• Work closely with Engineers, Project Managers and the Manufacturing team to achieve practical and effective project outcomes.
• Utilise standard aluminium profiles and proprietary extrusions wherever possible.
• Follow standardised modelling and drafting processes.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, complete and suitable for production.
• Manage drafting priorities to keep projects moving in line with the production schedule.
• Communicate regularly with the Australian team regarding projects, changes and technical requirements.

About the role

This is a full-time contractor opportunity where you’ll work closely with our Australian-based Engineers, Project Managers and Manufacturing team to produce accurate, production-ready technical drawings for custom fabrication projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare drawings for custom platforms, landings, ladders and stairs using Tekla, SolidWorks and Inventor
• Produce detailed Client Approval, Fabrication and Site Assembly drawings
• Work closely with Engineers, Project Managers and the Manufacturing team to achieve practical and effective project outcomes

About you

• Proven professional drafting experience using SolidWorks and/or Autodesk Inventor
• Must be proficient in Tekla software
• Experience with 3D CAD modelling and production/fabrication drawings
• A background in structural, architectural, mechanical or fabrication drafting
• Experience with aluminium, steel, metal fabrication or access products will be highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to drawing accuracy
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Confidence communicating directly with Australian Engineers, Project Managers and Manufacturing staff
• The ability to manage your workload independently and meet project deadlines
• A reliable internet connection and suitable work-from-home environment
• Availability to work during Australian business hours (8am to 4pm ASCT)
