Platform Outsourcing is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Detailer for a 100% home-based role in the Philippines. You will detail structural steel using Tekla and manage major commercial projects from 3D modelling through fabrication and construction documentation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Australian project experience, strong English communication, and a proven ability to interpret drawings and produce fully coordinated models.

Qualifications

About you:

We are seeking a career-driven Structural Steel Detailer with 5+ years of experience working on major commercial projects. You will possess extensive hands‑on expertise in Tekla, along with the ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings to build fully coordinated models. Ideal candidates have delivered major developments including hotels, apartments, universities, warehouses, and retail centers. Core responsibilities include preparing shop drawings for steel fabrication and working with marking plans and point cloud surveys. Structural steel detailing experience is required, while precast concrete detailing experience is highly desirable.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working on Australian projects and adhering to Australian Standards

• Extensive expertise in Tekla Structures

• A career in Structural Engineering projects

• Proficiency with Point Cloud survey data and Aconex

• Strong background in structural steel shop detailing

• Experience with precast concrete panel detailing (desirable)

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• Dedicated IT hardware setup suitable for a full-time work‑from‑home role
