Job summary

CKI BUILDERS & ENGINEERING SERVICES is seeking a site Safety Lead to manage the safety program onsite and ensure compliance with DOLE-OSH requirements. You will supervise Safety Officers, coordinate with project engineers, and monitor high-risk activities across sites in Cebu City and nearby locations.

Qualifications

• SO3 certification with OSH training required.
• Construction safety experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOLE-OSH standards and CSHP.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise safety personnel and manage site safety activities.
• Willing to work on-site/project locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the site safety program and ensure DOLE-OSH compliance.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
• Supervise Safety Officers and coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and workers.
• Monitor high-risk activities (working at heights, scaffolding, excavation, lifting, hot works).
• Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare safety reports and OSH documentation.
• Coordinate CSHP implementation and liaise with DOLE during inspections.
• Recommend or implement work stoppages for serious hazards.
