Job summary

BDO Unibank in Davao City seeks a detail-oriented banking document processor to manage filing, indexing, and verification of customer information. You will work with core banking systems to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance across daily operations.

You will handle collateral release processes, prepare related financial documents, and coordinate with custodianship and accounting units to ensure timely and compliant closures.

Qualifications

• Experience in processing and compiling banking documentation.
• Familiarity with core banking and document control systems like ICBS and Mobius.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents and checklists for government agencies, banks, and developers.
• Compute applicable fees/taxes/ownership & registration expenses.
• Verify completeness of customer information files in ICBS/AFE as applicable.
• Scan and index documents of new accounts in Mobius per document chart.
• Process collateral release requests and prepare related advisories and deeds.
• Coordinate with custodianship officers on retrieval of original documents and release of mortgage.

Department:

• 1. Process documentation relative to the approved facilitites per Credit Proposal
• 1.1. Reviews approved conditions in the CP, as applicable
• 1.2. Prepares documents and checklist of requirements, certifications, letter to government agencies, other banks/financila institutions, developers. Sellers & SM group of companies.
• 1.3 Computes applicable fees/taxes/transfer of ownership & registration expenses.
• 2. Checks completeness of customer Information file data in ICBS, AFE as applicable
• 3. Scans and Indexes documents of new accounts in Mobius in accordance with the chart of documents, as applicable
• 4. Processes request for collateral release of partially/fully paid accounts or upon request via an approved CP, as applicable
• 4.1 Secures clearances/outstanding balances from accounting units
• 4.2 Prepares Collateral Release Advice, Deed of Sale & Release of Mortgage
• 4.3 Coordinates with Custodianship officer/processors on the pull-out of orginal documents for fully paid accounts for DAMS purposes
• 5. Affixes initials on all documents & checklist, CRAs, Deed of Sale & Release of Mortgage prepared falling under his/her approval authority before release to IBG/CBG/BDOFC/RMU

• 6. Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
