About the role
Pagasa Philippines Finance Corporation (PPFC) is looking for an experienced and results-driven Divisional Manager to lead and oversee the operations of one of our divisions in the Visayas. The position is responsible for managing multiple branches, developing field teams, monitoring branch performance, identifying operational risks, and ensuring the effective implementation of company policies and business strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the overall operations and performance of the assigned division.
- Supervise Area/Regional Managers and Relationship Managers and provide guidance to ensure effective branch operations.
- Conduct regular branch visits and monitor branch performance, compliance, and operational standards.
- Identify major branch issues, operational risks, and performance gaps and implement appropriate corrective measures.
- Monitor branch income and expenditures, financial transactions, cash controls, and record-keeping.
- Monitor delinquency, identify its causes, and implement appropriate recovery and improvement strategies.
- Assess staff performance, staffing requirements, development needs, and team dynamics.
- Ensure company policies, circulars, manuals, and operational procedures are properly communicated and implemented.
- Monitor branch office management, facilities, security, licensing, permits, and administrative requirements.
- Support branch expansion and the selection of new areas and branch locations.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5-10 years of solid experience in divisional, area, regional, or multi-branch operations management.
- Experience in microfinance, banking, lending, financial services, or a related industry is highly preferred.
- Strong experience managing geographically dispersed branches and field personnel.
- Proven experience in branch operations, portfolio/loan performance, delinquency management, and operational risk management.
- Strong leadership, people management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to conduct frequent field visits and overnight travel across the assigned division.
- Comfortable working in a highly field-oriented and fast-paced environment.
