Job summary

EXPEDITORS PHILIPPINES, INC. is seeking a District Trade Compliance Manager to oversee training, monitoring, and enforcement of global trade controls across branches. The role emphasizes proactive communication with RTCM and DTC, fostering a culture of compliant customer service and accurate messaging.

You will train staff, assess branch performance, and implement preventive controls while staying current with evolving trade regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• A passion for Trade Compliance and doing the right thing.
• Proficiency in English and one local language.
• Understanding of applicable Trade Compliance laws and regulations.
• Training for sanctioned/embargoed countries and export controls.
• Familiarity with Expeditors’ systems: GCI, CFIT, EDMS, ETMS.
• Background check, travel willingness, and compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create a Tone of Compliance Messaging in Branches.
• Lead training and regular branch visits to promote compliance.
• Monitor branch workflow and report anomalies to RTCM.
• Escalate and remediate non-compliance per procedures.
• Stay current on trade laws and communicate changes.
• Support customer value through compliant service delivery.
