Job summary

Newtrail Services Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Trade Compliance Operations Officer to manage global trade and compliance operations from the Taguig area, ensuring accuracy of import/export documents and regulatory alignment.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and knowledge of foreign exchange controls. Familiarity with SAP and global trade services is highly valued for process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of foreign exchange controls.
• Customs Broker License or equivalent (strongly preferred).
• Experience in SAP and global trade services.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate global trade and compliance operations within assigned country or region.
• Ensure import and export documents comply with legal and fiscal requirements.
• Validate and process transactional data for cross-border filings and clearance.
• Execute and complete medium-impact global trade and compliance projects.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Monitor and analyze compliance KPIs for the assigned location.
• Independently resolve moderately complex issues and escalate when necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
