Job summary

Remitly is seeking a Disputes Team Manager to lead a high-performing team in Manila, ensuring exceptional customer experience while strengthening fraud detection and prevention. You will coach, develop talent, and drive engagement, aligning with Remitly’s cultural values and service standards.

The role involves managing daily activities, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with Customer Success leadership, HR, and Program Managers to achieve goals. Manila-based onsite position.

Qualifications

• Experience leading disputes or customer service teams.
• Strong fraud detection, prevention and documentation abilities.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach and develop Associates and lead performance discussions.

Responsibilities

• Support Disputes Investigators and manage daily team activities.
• Provide process improvement recommendations for chargeback & disputes workflow.
• Coach Associates on career development and Remitly values.
• Lead team huddles/meetings and communicate team and company goals to stakeholders.
• Mentor on development, soft skills, and performance management.
