Job Title : Dispatching Asst.

Reporting to : Dispatching Manager

Key Responsibility : To assist the Dispatching Manager in executing the delivery plan, utilization of manpower and other resources, to ensure efficient and effective daily operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe, accurate, efficient and timely delivery of all orders to stores
• Supervise manpower (Delivery Drivers) from scheduling, attendance, work behavior, execution of daily duties, etc.
• Execute and Manage Daily Delivery Plan and takes record of delivery turn-around from Warehouse to Stores (vice versa)
• Ensures all empty wooden pallets, TKTs, crates and scrap from stores are return to Warehouse.
• Resolves dispatching and delivery issues such as truck breakdowns, traffic crashes, wrong drops, and other related incidents that may occur during operations
• Assist the Dispatching Manager in monitoring PMS and repairs of trucks to ensure it's good working condition.
• Ensures that delivery drivers understood and compliant in using the Truck Turn-over Checklist for the pre- and post-inspection of trucks.
• Maintains high-standard of housekeeping to ensure clean, healthy and safe workplace for all dispatching personnel
• Ensures that all drivers wears appropriate uniform and PPE, and follow all safety and health regulations.
• Reports to Dispatching Manager any unsafe acts or conditions, traffic incidents and accidents involving drivers and trucks
• Perform additional tasks that may be ask to do from time time by your immediate superior
