The Logistics Dispatcher is responsible for the efficient scheduling, routing, and monitoring of all delivery vehicles. At CW Home Depot, this involves coordinating the transport of diverse goods—from fragile tiles and sanitary wares to bulky cement and lumber. You will ensure that every order leaves the warehouse on time and reaches the customer's site via the most cost-effective and legally compliant route.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily delivery trips based on order priority, delivery location, and vehicle capacity.
• Optimize routes to save on fuel and time, while strictly adhering to Metro Manila truck ban schedules and localized traffic restrictions.
• Assign drivers and helpers (kargadors) to specific trips.
• Conduct pre-trip briefings to ensure drivers understand special handling instructions for fragile items (e.g., glass, ceramics).
• Monitor vehicle locations in real-time using GPS and maintain constant communication via radio or mobile.
• Verify all outgoing items against Delivery Receipts (DRs) and Sales Invoices.
• Ensure all gate passes and hauling permits are in order before a vehicle exits the premises.
• Review and file completed trip tickets, fuel receipts, and signed customer acknowledgments.
• Coordinate with Sales Coordinators to provide customers with accurate Estimated Times of Arrival (ETA).
• Handle "failed delivery" scenarios by immediately rerouting the vehicle or rescheduling with the customer.
• Track vehicle mileage and schedule routine maintenance (oil changes, tire checks) to prevent breakdowns during deliveries.

Job Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in dispatching, fleet management, or warehouse logistics. Experience in the construction supply or hardware industry is a major advantage.
• Basic skills in MS Excel for daily delivery logs and reporting.
• High School Graduate or Vocational Diploma; a degree in Customs Administration or Logistics is a plus.

Work Schedule

• Willing to work on a shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays (peak days for home improvement shoppers).
• Must be amenable to starting early (to beat the truck ban) or staying late to clear the day's backlogs.
