A dishwasher’s primary role is to ensure that all dishes, utensils, glassware, and cooking equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use in a kitchen or food service establishment.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and glassware using industrial dishwashing machines or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen equipment.
- Sort and organize clean dishes and utensils for easy access.
- Ensure proper disposal of trash and waste, including recycling.
- Monitor dishwashing supplies such as detergent, sanitizers, and gloves, and inform management when supplies are low.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary working environment, following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed, including cleaning floors and kitchen surfaces.
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations, assisting chefs, kitchen staff, or servers with necessary tasks.
Qualifications
- Can work shifting schedule, flexible hours including weekends or holiday.
- Physically fit.
- Good with customer service is an edge.
- Detail-oriented and good with customers.
- Trustworthy and with pleasing personality.
- 18 years old and above.
- High School Graduate, ALS ,Senior/Junior High or HIGHER.
- Experience is a plus or w/o experience as long as willing to be trained.
