Responsibilities

• Adjudicate disability for eligibility of short and long-term benefits, reviewing contractual, medical, functional and occupational information
• Coordinate interventions including Independent Medical Evaluations, Functional Capacity Evaluations, ergonomic assessments, medical opinions, and rehabilitation resources
• Work with insured employees, clients, lawyers, health care practitioners and stakeholders to obtain information, provide claim status, create action plans and communicate decisions while maintaining confidentiality
• Conduct telephone interviews in English and French to develop outcome-focused case management plans supporting return-to-work
