Job summary

PM Consulting in Makati seeks a Director for Construction & Project Development to lead end-to-end delivery of construction projects from planning to opening. You will oversee multiple large-scale retail projects, ensuring timely execution, quality, cost control, and alignment with an aggressive expansion program.

The role emphasizes leadership, stakeholder management, and a strong track record in ground-up development, with travel to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of engineering/construction experience, with 10+ years in leadership.
• Experience managing full construction lifecycle, including ground-up projects.
• Strong track record in retail construction and large-format projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/locations during aggressive expansion.
• Experience with contractor, subcontractor, consultant, and supplier coordination.
• Solid understanding of scheduling, budgeting, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership and team development across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end construction lifecycle from planning to opening.
• Oversee large-format retail and large-box construction projects.
• Develop and manage construction plans, schedules, milestones, and resources.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify risks/delays, implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specs, safety, and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely openings.
• Review costs, variations, and contractor performance; report to senior management.
• Lead, mentor, and allocate manpower across projects/locations.
