London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) seeks a Director of Operational Change to lead change programmes and drive continuous improvement across Post Trade Solutions. You will ensure alignment with business goals, strengthen readiness and resilience, and assume local site leadership for Markets Operations in Manila.

You will work with global heads to ensure strong risk and control standards, connect with the Markets organisation, and drive an efficient operating rhythm with governance participation.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and effective Director of Operational Change to lead operational change initiatives and drive continuous improvement across our Post Trade Solutions businesses. In this role, you will develop and implement strategic change programmes, ensuring alignment with our business goals while strengthening readiness and resilience.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in operational excellence, strong stakeholder management, and a proven ability to embed sustainable change. A critical requirement is a strong understanding of the operating model of key market infrastructure, including governance, risk frameworks, regulatory expectations, and the end‑to‑end processes that underpin safe and efficient market functioning.

The successful candidate will also assume local site leadership responsibilities for Markets Operations. This role will represent Markets on the group site governance forum and serve as the primary link between Markets Manila and the global Markets Operations leadership team. The position leads all aspects of collaboration, communication, and people initiatives across all Markets Operations teams, acting as a key point of escalation and support. Working closely with global operations heads, the role ensures strong connectivity, consistent risk and control standards, and a unified operational approach across the Markets organisation.

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

• Leads strategic planning and operational activities for the effective and efficient running of the Function, SBU or region, to drive the operating rhythm, achieve the Strategic Objectives and give to financial performance, operating efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

• Leads the delivery of daily operations, strategic and operational projects for the Function, SBU or region to drive the Strategic Objectives and ensure the operating unit is running efficiently, optimizing company resources, and maximizing ROI

• Provides senior support to ExCo, the CEO, Business Unit Lead or COO in the strategic, tactical and day-to-day delivery of commercial objectives

• Establishes the operating rhythm for the function, SBU or region including the ownership and maintenance of the operating calendar, ensuring awareness and visibility for LT of important events, deadlines and commitments

• Develops metrics for capturing, analysing, and reporting effectiveness of the Function and may drive process improvement, change initiatives and issue resolution

• Drives alignment on deliverables and removal of barriers to execution through regular conversations with documented commitments and outcomes, driving the flow of information

• Engages in Group and Function planning and objective setting, supporting Leadership teams follow and meet the requirements of the LSEG annual strategic planning process

• Manages a team of direct reports, using the appropriate resources, networks and tools to ensure delivery against objectives and to provide performance management, technical development, guidance and coaching (where applicable).
