London Stock Exchange Group in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Associate to support the day-to-day management of Equities Admissions across LSE markets. You will oversee admissions, instrument reference data and regulatory updates while driving process improvements.
The role requires coordinating with internal teams and external market participants, with potential leadership responsibilities for Manila-based colleagues.
LSEG is more than a diversified global financial markets infrastructure and data business. We are dedicated, open-access partners with a dedication to perfection in delivering the services our customers expect from us. With extensive experience, deep knowledge and worldwide presence across financial markets, we enable businesses and economies around the world to fund innovation, manage risk and build jobs. It’s how we’ve contributed to supporting the financial stability and growth of communities and economies globally for more than 300 years.
The Assistant Manager, Equities Operations will support the effective day-to-day management of Admissions activity across the LSE markets. The role will provide operational oversight across admission applications, instrument and issuer reference data, regulatory and market updates, and related stakeholder queries. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of day-to-day delivery, support the development of team capability, ensure strong control standards are maintained, and act as an escalation point for operational issues. The role will also support process improvement, system change and future-state operating model initiatives, working closely with colleagues across Admissions, Market Operations, Technology, Compliance, Product and other key stakeholder groups. Although the primary focus of the role will be Admissions, the role may also involve coordination, oversight or support for other Manila-based operational colleagues, depending on the final team structure and agreed operating model.
The Equities Operations team is responsible for maintaining trading services and reference data across LSE, Turquoise and associated venues. This includes daily updates to internal and customer-facing systems, admissions processing, corporate actions handling, and the execution of both scheduled and ad-hoc operational changes. The team works closely with internal stakeholders and external market participants to ensure services are delivered accurately, consistently and in line with required market deadlines. The team works on a shift basis with the current service hours between 07:00 and 18:00 UK time.
DSM Operations covers Market Operations Services and Client Technology Services. Market Operations Services provides a centralised function for the maintenance of key trading services and reference data across LSE and Turquoise venues. The department acts as a first point of contact for customers, including issuers and member firms requiring immediate or planned actions. It supports the admission of securities to trading, manages the impact of corporate actions and regulatory change on reference data, and coordinates communication with key organisations including EUI, CCPs, UKLA and regulators.
The role will support UK market operating hours and may require shift-based coverage aligned to business needs. The current service hours referenced in the existing Equities Operations job specification are 07:00 to 18:00 UK time, covered by separate shifts, with some weekend and bank holiday coverage required.
