Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Director-level leader to direct a global Content function, ensuring delivery of KPIs for service and quality. You will oversee multiple teams, drive automation, and manage risks while partnering with Product, Data Strategy and Technology to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Job description

PURPOSE: Directs a large and/or highly complex Content function, ensuring delivery against key performance indicators (KPIs) for Content service and quality.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
  • Oversees a large and/or highly complex Content function, including multiple teams in a global team environment
  • Holds accountability to deliver service and quality to agreed targets for the function
  • Ensures delivery to plan on major projects and technical transformations (e.g. content cleanses, builds and technical transformations)
  • Improves productivity for the function by reducing waste and increasing automation
  • Understands and manages function specific risks that could impact the customer, business and employees
  • Manages senior customer interactions and builds relationships as a result of service escalations
  • Provides performance management, coaching, training and development for the function
  • Owns the collaboration with Product, Data Strategy, Technology and other related LSEG teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Owns and drives cross functional initiatives or horizontal initiatives.

  • Stakeholder Management: Builds trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their drivers and negotiate positive outcomes.
  • People Management: Leads and manages people, holding responsibility for motivation, attraction, retention and performance management.
  • Coaching: ses qualities and actions that focus on helping individuals improve performance by using probing questions in order to guide others toward improvement and learning through teamwork, positive leadership and strengths.
  • Operational Excellence: Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency while providing flawless transactions, services and products, manages monetary assets and other resources to optimise cost effectiveness.
  • Financial Markets Knowledge: Understands financial markets, instruments and concepts and demonstrates hands-on knowledge of the organisation's industry and risks associated.
  • Facilitation: Leads cross functional teams to consensus on complex issues.
  • Coaching: Uses qualities and actions that focus on helping individuals improve performance by using probing questions in order to guide others toward improvement and learning through teamwork, positive leadership and strengths.
  • Research: nvestigates information systematically, asks inquisitive questions, and studies materials and sources to reach new conclusions and / or create new ideas, methods, products or solutions.
